Duties Responsibilities: 

  • Preparation of high-quality tax compliance work, including preparation and submission of corporate and personal tax returns
  • Preparation of DDT10 exemptions, shareholder registrations, dividend warrants and tax refund registration forms
  • Analysis and application of the Consolidated Group (Income Tax) Rules
  • Assisting in tax advisory assignments and in the research of tax matters on an ad-hoc basis
  • Liaising with tax authorities
  • Keeping abreast with direct tax developments locally and internationally
  • Assisting in other ad-hoc tax projects as applicable

Requirements: 

  • ACCA qualified or equivalent
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role
  • An excellent command of Maltese income tax
  • Ability to work against deadlines, prioritise and handle multiple tasks
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work on own initiative and in a team
  • MIT Course on Taxation or equivalent would be considered as an asset

The Payroll Executive is responsible for payroll processing activities. This includes calculating employee salaries and benefits, maintaining payroll records, ensuring compliance with government regulations, and coordinating with other team members to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing.

Responsibilities: 

  • Calculate and process employee salaries, benefits, and other compensation accurately and timely.
  • Ensure all payroll transactions are processed in accordance with company policies and government regulations.
  • Review and reconcile payroll data to ensure accuracy and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Maintain payroll records and documentation in accordance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Prepare and distribute payroll reports to clients and other departments as needed.
  • Respond to client inquiries regarding payroll matters, such as paychecks, taxes, and benefits.
  • Keep up-to-date with payroll laws and regulations, and ensure compliance with all applicable regulations.

Requirements: 

  • Knowledge of payroll laws and regulations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with other departments.
  • Proficient in using payroll software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion.
  • Certification in payroll processing, such as Certified Payroll Professional (CPP), is preferred but not required.

Duties & Responsibilities: 
  • Demonstrate the ability to effectively lead, manage and motivate the Company’s audit team in line with our vision and values
  • Oversee all aspects of the audit work, ensuring high levels of quality, efficiency and client satisfaction
  • Monitor team performance against KPIs and be heavily involved in target setting
  • Identify, re-assess and improve structure, systems and processes
  • Manage team workflows, workloads and deadlines
  • Demonstrate expertise in primary accounting frameworks and in methodology to perform an assurance engagement in compliance with International Standards of Auditing (ISAs)
    • Manage the audit process with appropriate consideration of audit risk issues and accounting technical matters
    • Assist other team members as their primary point of contact and review their work where appropriate

Requirements & Skills: 
  • Fully qualified with minimum 5 years’ experience in an audit-related role
  • Expertise in primary accounting and auditing frameworks, mainly IFRS, GAPSME and ISAs
  • Good command of local tax and VAT regulations
  • Significant experience in leading, planning and reporting on audits
  • Must be highly organised, meticulous and analytical
  • Demonstrates an application and solution-based approach to problem solving
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Ability to work with minimum supervision and in a team environment

  • Managing the process of incorporating a Company, Trust or Foundation with the Malta Business Registry
  • Managing the process of incorporating a Company, Trust or Foundation in any other jurisdiction
  • Handling client corporate changes and drafting or reviewing statutory documentation
  • Liaising with financial institutions for the opening of bank accounts
  • Submitting applications for EU and Non-EU Nationals to Identity Malta
  • Actively manage relationships with clients and assisting in their requests on an on-going basis
  • Liaising with Malta Business Registry, CFR and regulatory authorities as necessary

Education & Experience: 

  • Previous experience in a local CSP Firm for at least 4 years in a corporate managerial role
  • A thorough understanding of Company Law, KYC Requirements and the CSP Rulebook is a must
  • Experience in the role of a compliance officer and/or MLRO with a local CSP is considered as an asset
