We are looking for a Senior Client Accounting Advisor to join our Accounting Department to work on a diversified portfolio of local and foreign clients.

Get a glimpse of the range of responsibilities that await you: 

  • Responsible for a portfolio of clients operating in varied industries and actively managing and enhancing relationship with clients, ensuring a high level of quality, efficiency and client satisfaction;
  • Completing VAT returns and management accounts, and liaising with auditors;
  • Managing own workflows, workloads and deadlines;
  • Preparing ad-hoc financial reports by analysing accounting information;
  • Leading projects or tasks as delegated by Client Accounting Manager;
  • Assisting team members as their primary point of contact and reviewing their work, ensuring effective communication and motivation in line with the company’s vision and values;
  • Monitoring team performance and be involved in target setting;

  • Providing advice on tax considerations in various processes of corporate restructuring and financing, mergers and acquisitions, cross-border investments, and other types of transactions
  • Assisting international and local clients with ad-hoc tax advisory engagements
  • Assisting in tax compliance and execution, including preparation of corporate tax returns and tax refund applications

  • Delivering technical training and providing technical support to the accounting and audit teams

  • Preparation of DDT10 exemptions, shareholder registrations, dividend warrants and tax refund registration forms
  • Analysis and application of the Consolidated Group (Income Tax) Rules
  • Assisting in tax advisory assignments and in the research of tax matters

We are looking for a Corporate Services Executive to join our Corporate Team.

Get a glimpse of the responsibilities that await you:

  • Assistance with the setting up of new companies, preparation and submission of statutory filings 
  • Preparation of documents in relation to corporate transactions including, but not limited to, share transfers and increase in share capital
  • Handling annual returns, BO Annual Confirmation Forms, and drafting of combined registers and share certificates
  • Performing general corporate administration duties and assisting with compliance matters
  • Managing a portfolio of clients and handling client requests in a timely manner
  • Liaising with banks and financial institutions for the opening, maintenance, and management of bank accounts
  • Attending client meetings including, but not limited to, board meetings, annual general meetings and extraordinary general meetings
  • Liaising with other departments within the firm including accountants, auditors, tax and payroll teams
  • Providing guidance and support to junior administrative staff and ensuring the smooth operation of the corporate services department
  • Communicating with the Malta Business Registry and other regulatory authorities
  • Assisting in client onboarding and ongoing monitoring

What sets you apart:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in the Corporate field 
  • Good command of Business English and Maltese (both written and spoken) 
  • Attention to detail 
  • Reliable, high level of integrity and work ethic 
  • Sound working knowledge of Company Law and local corporate matters  
  • Able to work under pressure, multi-task, and meet deadlines

Preference will be given to candidates who have:

  • Previous experience with a licensed CSP
  • Extensive knowledge of Due Diligence
